Refund & Cancellation Policy
The plain-language version
- ·Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that needs no card. That trial is how you evaluate ReviewBox — use it.
- ·Once a subscription payment goes through, it is not refundable.
- ·Cancel any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you already paid for, and there is no prorated refund for unused days.
- ·You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- ·The only refunds we issue are for duplicate charges or a billing error on our side.
This summary is for convenience. The legal terms below are what actually govern your use of the service.
1.The policy in one line
Subscription fees paid to AT WORK Inc, trading as ReviewBox are final and non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
We know that is a strict policy, so we have built the alternative into the product: every plan begins with a 14-day free trial that does not ask for a card. You can connect your apps, sync real reviews, generate drafts, and decide whether ReviewBox is worth paying for before any money changes hands.
2.Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the full product. No payment method is required to start it, and no charge is made when it ends — if you do nothing, the trial simply expires and the account becomes read-only.
You only pay when you actively choose a plan and enter payment details. There is no automatic conversion from trial to paid.
3.Subscription payments are non-refundable
Once a subscription payment has been processed, it is non-refundable. This applies to monthly and annual plans alike, and applies whether or not you used the service during the period covered by that payment.
Reasons that do not qualify for a refund include, without limitation: deciding the product is not a fit after purchasing; forgetting to cancel before a renewal date; not using the service during a paid period; a change in your business circumstances; or dissatisfaction with output generated by the AI drafting features, which are assistive and always require your review before anything is published.
4.No prorated or partial refunds
We do not issue prorated or partial refunds. If you cancel in the middle of a billing period, you are not refunded for the remaining unused days of that period, and no credit is carried forward.
The same applies if you downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-period: the change takes effect at your next renewal, and the difference for the current period is not refunded.
5.How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, without contacting us, from Settings → Billing inside the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After cancelling you keep full access for the remainder of the period you have paid for. When that period ends, the subscription stops, no further charges are made, and the account moves to a read-only state from which you can still export your data.
If you would rather cancel by email, write to billing@tryreviewbox.com from the address on the account and we will action it.
6.Limited exceptions
We refund in two situations, and we do so without argument:
- Duplicate charges. If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period, the surplus charges are refunded in full.
- Billing errors on our side. If we charged the wrong amount, charged an account that had already been cancelled, or charged you for a plan you did not select, we refund the difference or the full amount as appropriate.
Report either by emailing billing@tryreviewbox.com with the charge date and amount. We aim to acknowledge within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where it applies to you.
7.Failed payments and downgrades
If a renewal payment fails, we retry it and notify you by email. If payment is not resolved within a reasonable grace period, the subscription is suspended and the account becomes read-only. Data is retained during this period so nothing is lost by a temporary card problem.
8.Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Any change is announced by email to the address on the account before it takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal — never retroactively to a period you have already paid for. If you do not accept a new price, cancel before the renewal date.
9.Before you file a chargeback
If you believe a charge is wrong, please email us first. Almost every disputed charge we see is a duplicate or a billing error, and both are covered by the exceptions above — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute can.
Filing a chargeback for a charge that is valid under this policy may result in the account being suspended, since the payment processor reverses the funds and applies a fee regardless of the outcome.
